Baked beans and beef with sautéed onions

Ingredients

1 tbsp (15 ml) butter

1 large onion, chopped

1 lb (450 g) ground beef

Salt and freshly ground pepper

2 can 14 oz (398 ml) Graves baked beans in molasses

Freshly chopped parsley

Preparation

  1. In a pot at medium high heat, melt butter and sauté onions for 5 minutes or until golden. Set aside half.
  2. Add ground beef and cook for 5 minutes or more, stirring frequently. Season.
  3. Add baked beans, cover and lower the temperature to medium low. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Top with sautéed onions and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
