Pasta with chicken, peas and pesto




Cooking time


4 cups (1 litre) rotini

1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil

2 chicken breasts, cubed

1/2 cup (125 ml) pesto

1 can 10 oz (284 ml) Graves small peas , drained

Salt and freshly ground pepper


  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large pan, heat oil to medium high and brown chicken. Continue cooking until chicken is cooked through.
  3. Add pesto, 1/2 cup (125 ml) of pasta cooking water and the peas.
  4. Add cooked pasta, stir, season to taste and serve.
